Your safari adventure begins with an early morning road transfer from Kampala via Mbale to Moroto, a town nestled at the western foot of Mount Moroto. Upon arrival, check in at Kara-Tunga Safari Camp and enjoy a delicious lunch. Moroto serves as the main town of the Karamojong people, a semi-nomadic pastoralist community known for their rich cultural heritage and cattle wealth. The afternoon is free for relaxation or light exploration of the surrounding area. Enjoy dinner at your lodge as you prepare for the adventure ahead.

Begin the day with an immersive cultural experience, visiting the Karamoja region to engage with the Karamojong people and learn about their unique traditions. Later in the afternoon, embark on a scenic drive from Moroto to Kidepo Valley National Park, one of Africa’s most remote and stunning safari destinations. The park is home to a vast array of wildlife, including lions, elephants, buffalo, giraffes, and zebras. It also boasts an impressive bird checklist of 470 species, with some found nowhere else in Uganda. Upon arrival, check in at your lodge and enjoy a peaceful evening in the wild.

After an early breakfast, depart Kidepo Valley and journey through the landscapes of northern Uganda as you make your way to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, check in at your lodge and enjoy dinner while soaking in the tranquil surroundings of Uganda’s largest and oldest national park.

Start your day with an early morning game drive, a magical experience as the first rays of sunlight bring the savannah to life. Keep an eye out for four of the Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, and buffalo—along with Rothschild’s giraffes, various antelope species, and unique birdlife, including the rare shoebill. Midday, embark on a boat safari along the Nile to the base of Murchison Falls, where you’ll witness hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of animals gathering by the water’s edge.
